Q. How do I get my child(s) account information?

A. If you have not received your child(s) account information or are new to the district, please contact either your child(s) school office and request it be mailed or e-mail with your child(s) name and grade year and the account information will be mailed in about a week.


Q. What do I do if I lost my child's login and/or password? 

A. If you lost or misplaced any of your child's account information, contact either your child's school office or email us at  We can then mail the information home. No information will be given to your child at school without a signed note.


Q. Who do I contact if I am having problems logging in? 

A. If you are experiencing difficulties logging in, first make sure you are using a browser that is supported. Next, double check the password because what looks like the letter "I" lowercase might actually be the number "1." If you are still having problems logging in feel free to e-mail the District's SDS Support at Please put which school it is for in the subject line.


Q. Where can I check out my child's grades?

A. Anywhere you have internet connection. As a reminder in a public place, such as a library, make sure you have logged off before leaving.


Q. Which Internet browsers are supported? 

A. Currently, Internet Explorer is only supported. Other browsers may work, but you may experience difficulties while using them.


Q. Why do I see a different Grade under the Grade Tab and the Gradebook Tab? 

A. Grades are posted from the teacher's gradebook once a week to Grades from the Gradebook. This process is completed for eligibility, mid-quarter, quarter, and semester grades throughout the year. For the most up-to-date grade look under the Gradebook Tab.


Q. How often am I able to check for Grade Updates?

A. You are able to login whenever, wherever, you so desire. Grades may not change often, but you are encouraged to check back at any time.


Q. Who should I contact if I have a question about my child's gradebook?

A. If you have a question about your child's grade, contact the teacher via e-mail. All e-mail addresses are provided within SDS ParentConnect.


Q. Can I change the password on the account?

A. Yes, you can by simply clicking on the Forgot or Change Password? link and go through steps and your new password will be set.


Q. Do I need to login under each of my child's account or is there a simpler way? 

A. You can narrow it down to just one account by using the Combine ID's inside the ParentConnect after you have logged on with one of the accounts.
